S.I Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 In case someone was wondering, I just tried connecting a PF servo motor to the extra output of a old RC unit hoping for a more powerful steering output, because at least my unit can't turn the hot flame's wheels when standing still, but this does not work. Presumably the servo motor decodes some PF signals and just runs on the 9V PF bus. Quote
kieran Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Which cable did you use for the conversation? the PF servo needs both a permanent 9V supply and a switch voltage on the C1,C2 lines of the PF cable. Quote
S.I Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 Sorry, computer has been acting up. I used the PF cable, its the only one I am aware of. What you say is what I meant, the converter cable only powers the 9V bus of the PF stuff and not the signals. Quote
