Minifig Lecturer Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Does anyone know where on the web one can find images of stickers used in Lego sets that would allow me to print them off and put on my MOCs for more detail. In particular, I am looking for TOWN signs, for example there might be Pizza shop signs, Octan logos, Railway signs, Bank signs and so on..? I have done a search but I did not come up with images of enough quality, i.e. most were people's photographs of stickers and had bad resolution. Quote
brickchic Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 There was a guy on ebay in the US selling very reasonably priced copies of lego town stickers. He had various sheets with different town stuff including a few of his own design. They're very well printed on a good quality sticker paper, but I cant remember his ebay username. Quote
Holodoc Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 What about self-designing? The artwork is mostly very simple so it shouldn Quote
brickchic Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Him? Yep. That's the one. I bought some train and town stickers off him last year and the only drawback is that you have to cut them out from the sheet yourself because they're not precut. Also, aside from the train stickers which were printed on transparent sheets, the town stickers were on gloss white sheets, and so some of them that were originally meant to be on a clear background had been printed on a background colour to match the bricks they should be stuck on instead. Overall though I am very happy with my purchases. The sticker paper he uses is very good quality. Quote

I've considered buying from him but haven't done so yet. I can live with cutting them out myself, so I guess I'll just try :-) Quote
phoinix Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 there are many sticker scans here http://www.hccamsterdam.nl/brickfactory/stikkers/index.htm Quote
Hobbes Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 there are many sticker scans here http://www.hccamsterdam.nl/brickfactory/stikkers/index.htm I saw that, but many are pretty poor quality. If you print them out sometimes the text is barely legible... Quote
