Balrog Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 To be honest, I am a bit disappointed right now, because I expected you to attempt a Ford Focus in Technic and scale ~1:10. Also the digital model looks a bit too blocky in some sections. I know it is hard to build such shapes with bricks but it doesn't meet my expectations right now. Perhaps I'll say something different when it is built from real bricks. Also, the wheelbase of the Focus isn't wider in the back than in the front. But not everything is bad ;) I like how you did the lower reflectors, tail lights and the indent for the license plate. This is to me the most appealing area, because it allows me to recognize the car. Please accept my humble and non-professional criticism. Quote

Technyk32231 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Looking really nice! Sometimes I honestly forget that this is also the model team forum. Quote
piterx Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 ahah so true! yeah it looks really nice also to me!! :) well done! Quote
Milan Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Looks good, but maybe it would look iven better in other color. Black is good for mimic the imperfections in brick-built body lines, but other color might make it look more aggressive. Quote
Junpei Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Wow, it's looking great! I do agree with Milan that a different colour could make it look better. Maybe with teal highlights? The parts would be a bit hard to find, but just a few plates for some stripes wouldn't be too costly. Quote
Technyk32231 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Somehow I think this would look really aggressive if you added some lime green highlights to the current black, or the reverse, with lime green and black highlights. Quote
OzBen Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Somehow I think this would look really aggressive if you added some lime green highlights to the current black, or the reverse, with lime green and black highlights. Exactly what I was thinking! Still, way cool looking and as others have said, can't wait to see it in bricks :-) Quote
Polo-Freak Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 Thanks for the Feedback Good idea with Highlights, i thinking.... Mhhh, what wheels should i use ? Quote
