vahkimetru Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Iron Crusher Sky Titan Both of these super machines. For instructions, visit www.exobattle.com Also, Iron Crusher had a minor role in the new EF comic and Sky Titan was mentioned at the end. Enjoy... :-) Quote
KMOI Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Hmm... It seems there may have been a slight miscommunication between the designers and the artists, because on the 3D version of the Iron Crusher, the shoulder pads are going in the wrong direction (Should be diagonal, not horozontal). And in the comic version, the legs are as if it's got dinosaur legs, when in the 3D version and instruction guide, it clearly has normal walking action. Anyhoo, very interesting overall. The Iron Crusher is definately amazing, as the colour scheme works with fantastic uniformity. The Sky Titan on the ther hand... Well... No offense, but it looks like a powerzord. Blue red, white and yellow are hard enough to mix already and then they have to chuck Ryo's green machine in there for good measure. The results? It depends from person to person. To me, it looks really akward. The design itself looks great, but the colour scheme just looks like a giant blemish on an otherwise decent combiner. All in all, a good show! Can't wait until I get my magazine! (I should really check the mail. Been a week since I last went to pick it up :-D ) Quote
dillthepill Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I was just about to post this! I already did on the Exo-Force Network. Quote
xenologer Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Huh so they decided to do Alternate Models after all. How'd you find these? If I go through the building instructions section on the normal EF site these dont seem to show up. Well, theyre kinda ... bleh, so I'm not building them but the Robot's combiner brings up an interesting point, WHY didnt they just use a Claw Crusher style cage for Iron Condor's missing cockpit? it fits in there perfectly (like the combo model illustrates) P.S. the human combiner looks like a mechanized butterlfy, theres just too many colors... vahkimetru Posted January 18, 2007 Author Posted January 18, 2007 The new Lego magazine has an article on Iron Crusher, mentions Sky Titan, has Iron Crusher in the comic, and had a link to the website, which is Exo Battle. Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Bah, only Iron Crusher is cool. Sky Titan looks like Blade Titan with added stuff. -ZotS Quote
Kahgarak Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Someone should use Sky Titan's instructions, but use matching colors to make it better... ;-) The Iron Crusher, however, is already perfect.Great mech! Quote
dillthepill Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 I already made the Sky Titan. It is actually really good and the colors hardly clash. I just need to make the Iron Crusher and I will do a review for them. Quote
vahkimetru Posted January 20, 2007 Author Posted January 20, 2007 I hope that these face off alone in a little "clash of the titans". Quote
