Hi all,

With this message i'd like to share my LEGO Winterlandscape which i have made for the Winterfair 2012 in Zwartsluis, my home town.

It is based upon the holiday train, the grand carousel and the winter houses.

The layout is placed behind my windows specially to amuse the kids during the winterfair.

It was fun to build the layout from the perspective of the kids.

The trees and snow are bought at the local garden center, sorry for that but i have not that many LEGO ;-).

On the track two trains drive in opposite direction and behind the scene they pass each other.

The holiday train triggers for 30 seconds the grand carousel when it arrives at the station before it continues it's ride.

LEGO is fun ... and let's not keep it for our selves!

too bad I didn't know about it, is about 25 km from here ;) (eenkhoorn, from Genemuiden?!, got some pupils with that name...)

Very nice diorama, maybe you can add some more MOC's!

JopieK,

Well, this is the second year i've did this in Zwartsluis at the Winterfair. Before i lived in Hasselt and there i've started to make these layouts and presenting them the same way to the public, just for the fun of it.

If nothing strange happens the layout will stay behind the window till the end of december this year.

Hopefully if our street is again part of the next Winterfair of 2013 the layout will evolve to a next level ....

So far every year it grows.

Looks really nice in the window there, reminds me of the sort of thing I would see as a kid in toy shops at Christmas. Now they are too busy with 'sale' signs and things commercial to put up a good Christmas display it seems. Yours is especially nice with the two trains running and those Octan wagons look good.
