I am building a new car, in style of musclecar from 60's: long and quadrat. I want that car to be agressive and brutal.

There are some variants of the front grille and lights, but cant make best decision. Please help me to choose the best.

5. Or may be quadrat lights (right side)?

If it is possible, someone make a POLL here. I dont have such rights yet...

Thank you.

American musclecars from the 1960s and early 1970s had round headlights, like this AMC AMX:

Thats why 4 of 5 variants are rounded:) which one looks the best?

Good choice. Camaro style.

Thanks

The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro looks like this:

Too complex to build all that lines and angles. My moc is simpler, but had to contain muscle spirit.

Try to find a place:)

Thanks for advices. Now I am choosing between 2 and 4. As for me- like 2.

My personal opinion is that they're all a bit too rectangular and flat.

There certainly were muscle cars with pretty much rectangular grilles:

However, I'd say the majority achieve a more dynamic shape by having the grille taper towards the centre or having the centre protrude somewhat:

I'd say that given the limitations of using Lego as a medium, one thing you're going to struggle with is avoiding the whole thing looking "boxy", and having a flat grille kind of puts you behind the eight ball in this regard. Consider this model, with the grille based on a Holden Statesman (an Australian car not entirely unlike American muscle cars):

The grille is about the only part that doesn't look boxy.

That's my two cents anyway.

Can't wait to see what you decide.. I like this idea...!

Personally, I would try and use either white or black friction pins instead of the blue ones though for mounting.... Unless your goal is using all modern parts...

Very useful and important note. I dont even think about this little but important detail. Thank you.

I thought about making leds to lights. So may be I will make mounting as in 8297 set. That offroader that uses the same front lights 4x4 round plate, with 1x1 transparent round system plate for mounting (no pins at all)

If i will not do leds, i will use tan or black pins for mounting;)
