Captain Nemo Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 I gotta say I'm not a fan of the T-Rex and Penny, on account of them not being lego causing them to stand out too much. But from what I can see, the brick built structures are great. Quote
becauseBATMAN Posted December 14, 2012 Author Posted December 14, 2012 How'd you get the new DKR Bane? there are select ebay sellers who get their hands on unreleased figures - this one was taken from the upcoming 76001 set. i believe there are a few more available online... But from what I can see, the brick built structures are great. i felt the same way honestly, however once i realized i'd be using a computer print out for the graphic of the Joker card, i figured i could make a few exceptions. once a ferocious-enough looking t-rex is released from lego however, it'll be switched out. CorneliusMurdock Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Welcome to EB. I hope you enjoy the site. Just a minor thing, please use capital letters when you post. It makes reading what you write easier. I agree with Captain Nemo, the cave itself looks good. I like how you've used different styles of brick to make the plain walls more interesting. And even if the T-Rex from Dino isn't as ferocious as you might like, I think it'd still look better in your display. Quote

Purpearljellyblob Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Great MOC. Nice looking Bane! Didn't expect a Dino there! I would have loved it more if Catwoman was there somewhere overlooking the scene where Bane did a snap on Batman's spine! Quote
becauseBATMAN Posted December 16, 2012 Author Posted December 16, 2012 Thanks! And she is =) She's next to Robin in the background on the second level Great MOC. Nice looking Bane! becauseBATMAN Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 Batsuit display is nearly finished! A total of 7 suits can be displayed at a time. Smooth tile pieces will be used in the front to improve the look. Im still deciding whether or not to use the clear "window" pieces. Frames were used for each suit display so popping in the window pieces wont be an issue. Comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Quote
moop Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Love a good Batman MOC. I debated trying out the Cave to accompany my Arkham but never got around to it. Quote

BrickG Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 The T-Rex needs to be a lego T-Rex form the dino line. At least that's what I was going to do if I ever made a Batcave. :) Quote

Cobb Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 I don't mind the Papos Rex it's a great looking T-rex. You could always consider brickbuilding one. Quote
Brickmamba Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Amazing batcave and vehicles, i agree with some comments get rid of the trex until you can find a lego substitute Quote
becauseBATMAN Posted January 28, 2013 Author Posted January 28, 2013 Yes, the Papos brand rex is highly detailed... I actually bought it specifically for this MOC. But it seems like in an overall sense, one with a Lego origin would serve better. I'm still undecided on whether or not to custom build or purchase one from the Dino-related lines from Lego =( I don't mind the Papos Rex it's a great looking T-rex. You could always consider brickbuilding one. http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ Quote
Spider-Man Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 If you are really serious about a new dino I think you should go on Bricklink and just search "T-Rex". I was actually surprised with the variety, and some of the older versions were there for $6-$10 Quote
