Here it is, the completion of my new MOC, The Bat. Complete with matching functions such as foldable rear wings and opening cockpit door. The cockpit actually only fits one minifig but I could make it slightly bigger to fit another though the cockpit would appear out of proportion. I'll make a large cockpit version eventually when I make time for it, just to see how it would look. I'll consider making instructions if it gets lots of supports on Cuusoo

The entire model is pretty much legally built but there is an illegally connected part underneath as shown. Diagram here: http://tinypic.com/v...?pic=zss2ki&s=6 though I think it can be replaced with a legal connection but won't be as stable.

My complete trilogy of Bat Vehicles!

Very nice, looks great and in proportion with my Tumbler design :)

Personally though I'd change the primary picture on Cuusoo to be the second one, at first glance it looks like the cockpit is built straight up and down when in fact it's just the cockpit open.

Thanks for the comments!

@WetWired

Yeah I've got your Tumbler in the picture though slightly modified, I also think the proportions are great. I'm actually working on a new Tumbler from scratch, then I'll have 3 unique Bat-vehicles to myself!

I didn't think of that before. I'll swap them right now, I can always change it back if I change my mind. Thanks.

Yeah I keep meaning to make a new tumbler as that's the first thing I ever made coming out of my dark ages, I'd like to make the back wheels bigger and fatten out the front a bit to match the real one. But new MOCs seem to take priority and it's a pain in the big behind to work with black bricks in my house, We don't have very good lighting.

It's amazing it looks more real than any other model! I love your side by side view on Flickr on the last fight scene in the movie THE DARK KNIGHT RISES! The rotors are very great it's more cooler than mine it's astonic that it lands on the rotors and not fragile! I like the cockpit as well a most in the open view there I saw how fantastic your BAT is! But my question is where I can get thies cool 3x1 upper roof piece in cristal clear? I never saw it befor. Thanks for sharing your BAT see you later Lego Freak

Oh sorry I mean 2x1 upper roof piece! Sorry about this. :( see you later Lego Freak

Thanks but I mean the piece from the front roof! There are two 1x2 roofpiece on both sides.

Thank you for share your MOC!

Hmm sorry if I don't understand which one you're talking about. Are you sure 1 x 2 x 2 trans-clear panel isn't it?

Ohh I completely missed that. My apologies. It's a 1 x 2 slope without a bottom tube.

I think the bottom tube version would look better but I just settled with the without-bottom tube version. They are both very rare pieces.

I'm gonna head over to the Lego Store soon and buy a ton of black 2 x 4 bricks to make the cube platforms from The Batcave so that The Bat can sit on, then take some pictures. Also my Tumbler will be done in a week.
