I think that I will not make the daily review with this calendar, because I don't like the minisets, they are very bad compared with the 2006 one. :'-( Just hope that it's a preliminary set...

This is the third year of the new style calendar, which basically is a minifig pack with a bunch of assorted parts, and no real common theme.

While I buy these, they do not compare to the older ones, when we assembled reindeer, santa, elves, presents, and other Christmasy things.

It doesnt look as impressive as this year's somehow...

The brick built tree is nice though

Isn't it kinda Early for them to be designing that calendar?

It is this year's calendar. ;-)

Not too early either, work on this one started early last year I guess. Nonetheless, seems like harbour will be a theme this year, I can see at least two minis with a harbor-theme.

i dont even get what most of the stuff is supposed to be.

nice box art though :-)

a think that thing in the top left could be a boy which you have in the sea.

Perhaps we need to start one of those online petition to ask TLC for a female minifig pack

This is a very good idea!

I will support that (for i have only two (in numbers: 2!) female minifigs) :-$

a boy? 8-|

Are we speaking of the same thing?

What i meant was this red/white flag-thing that seems to be turnable.

I really have no idea...

I think he's speaking of what essentially are the roadsigns of the sea. They are used for marking dangerous spots in the water where a boat may run aground, or to tell the skipper to keep left or right, and sometimes also used as an anchorpoint. I think. I know it's called a "boy" up here, but that's in scandinavian, and I have no idea of what they are called/spelled in english.

PS: To all you boat folks out there reading this, you probably must be laughing hard right now - I have no idea of what most things are called in the world of boats.
