Jimidimi Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 (edited) Hello Mij name is Dick (sorry English people, it's how it is), and live in the south of Holland. I met Lego because I am a father of 2 lovely (yes, really!) children and found out that maybe pappa likes Lego more than his children. Always thinking about the question, what is nicer , Lego or playmobil? Well, I try to find out. Greetings! Edited December 2, 2012 by Jimidimi Quote
JopieK Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Hi Dick, welcome to Eurobricks. Of course LEGO is much, much better we would say ;) but... you might also consider joining offline groups like Bouwsteen/LowLUG/BeLUG, whatever. They ave events for LEGO fans (and their children) to meet now and then. Quote
Jimidimi Posted December 2, 2012 Author Posted December 2, 2012 Thank you JopieK, I read a lot on lowlug, didnt know they meet in real life as well;-) Bouwsteen, I have to find on google...so...I leave this page now;-) Quote
badboytje88 Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Hey fellow Dutch guy! Hope you enjoy your stay on eurobricks. Quote
Wedge09 Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Welcome in Eurobricks  Always and only LEGO Quote
JopieK Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Both groups also attend events like LEGOWorld, Zwolle and even events abroad. Quote
Vincent Kessels Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Welcome to Eurobricks, Dick! Lego is definitely the best for kids as they can rebuild and change their stories. For adults Playmobiel is no alternative (assuming you do more than collecting). What are your interests? City, Star Wars, technic, trains... ? Quote
Saint Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Welcome to Eurobricks, Dick ! Don't forget about our Belgian club , BeLug ! They do a heck of a lot more than the "bouwsteen" on the MOC-side of LEGO. grtz Saint Quote
