markus1984 Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Hi guy`s Here i would show you another small diorama from me. Want to try a couple of construction techniques and then i have combined in a diorama. Sorry for the bad lightning but my big lamp is broken! flickr Hope you enjoy it bye markus Quote
Kez Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 That is awesome, I bet it took you a long time to build though, there is a great amount of detail to it, I love it all but my favourite things about it are the big tree and the water aswell as the broken bridge. Quote
Andy D Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 (edited) Wow! Just wow! This is really quite nice. The big tree is incredible, and the rock work is very realistic followed by (maybe preceded by) the greenery and the water. All in all one of the (if not the) best I have seen. Deathleech Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Yes, very nice! I love the water, the tree, and the bridge (so basically everything, lol!). The amount of detail in this is just amazing and really shows. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Wonderful landscape! You should enter this in the Forest Life category of the Collosall Castle Contest: http://www.classic-castle.com/events/ccc/rules.cgi?contest=cccx Quote
mrcp6d Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 More and more people are using loose 1x1 round plates as water...I need to seriously increase my inventory of those things! Pretty sweet bridge with the brown telescope things too Quote
gedren_y Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Nicely detailed and balanced well with modest fig posing. Don't worry about the light. It makes the close in shots more evocotive. With a brighter, more diffused light you would loose the wonderful blue reflected light on your stonework. Quote
monsinjor Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Really amazing. That tree is awesome. Also the bridge and the water. Quote
Purpearljellyblob Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Lots of clever MOC techniques you have! Highly detailed and realistic! Quote
kibosh Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 This really is fantastic. LOVE the water. Very well done. You coule write quite a story based on this MOC! Quote
Lasse Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Very nice MOC with many great details. The bridge is fantastic Quote
Wedge09 Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Very good work  I really like how you made the water, the cliffs and the tree  Quote
markus1984 Posted December 1, 2012 Author Posted December 1, 2012 yeah, i can only say thank`s very much for the great feedback!! Quote
Palathadric Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Very nicely done. The bridge especially looks quite awesome, but it's all really good! Different greens in the tree and grass would have added more life, I think, but it's still great! Quote
TheLegoDr Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 (edited) I love that tree! The rock work and the bridge is brilliant too. Well done! Edited December 1, 2012 by TheLegoDr Quote
Kristel Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 This is really great, packed full of nice details. I particularly like the broken bridge and how the roots of the big tree extend into the rocks. Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 I do like the water effect, but I am wondering how deep it is? I mean how many layers are there of those trans round plates and bits? Do you start with a dark layer and then spread lighter ones on top, I would like some tips with this method as it looks so good especially where it splashes around the rocks and stuff. Great use of the telescopes for the bridge and that tree is magnificent. Quote
