My (new) Exo-force MOC: DarkNova

(little mistake: it is 2006 not 2007)

Long before the Sky Dragon was built, there was a Exo-force MOC competition in HK. This is one of my creations. But I am not the winner :'-( because the competition likely put the focus on mech-transforming, that's why I built SkyDragon. I built it with the parts of Supernova and Thunder Fury only.

Story:

After the invention of Supernova, it is reported that Supernova's power is weaken during cloudy day and night day. By using the defeated parts of Thunder Fury, DarkNova was built`! It is abled to charge it's power with sun radiation, including the contra radiation at night. It is also equipped with Ultimate Gun, which can destroy 40% armor of BridgeWalker by one hit 8-

Why are there missles pointing up TOWARDS it? Anyways, I personally don;t like MOCs using the Exoforce frame, but thats just my opinion :-)

One question though. How could you use only the Supernova and the Thunder Fury parts if there is orange in the back? Could you post instructions? X-D

That is one nice combo model. It's a shame you didn't win. I like the idea of the jetpack and it's variety of armaments. I will say this, though: the hip missiles are very awkwardly placed. I can imagine it now...

I liked your other MOCs, but I'm not a fan of this one for two reasons:

Firstly, there's no color scheme. It just looks thrown together. Understandable since you built it from sets, but it would look so much better if it had a decent color scheme.

Secondly, you've overdone it on weapons in my opinion. There's just too much of them, really.

Thanks for everyone's comments :'-) This is my second exo-force MOC I made. Actually I have made four(M.A.R.S.,DarkNova,RT((not yet posted)),Sky Dragon and Tiger Defender). Sorry that I didn't make instruction before I rebuild to another mecha RT, which looks pretty bad at all( But I will post it if anyone request)

I agree with Kiku. It would look better if perhaps you had made the main colour black, with yellow highlights. As for weapons, I don't mind the Magama sword, but the Ulitmate powergun looks ready to fall out of the Mech's hand. You should keep the nice combination element, just tone it down a bit.

I love the gune and the build of it, the body's design makes it look very mobile unlike the sets *y* 10/10
