Any ideas on making a dwarf mine/ruin?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or ideas on how to make, start, a dwarf mine/ruin. I have a lot of grey pieces, and plan to use Mines of Moria and the Dwarven Mine sets. I just can't visualize it. I'm not sure how to make it look "underground," or if I should even try that route.

Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thank you.

this is my latest dwarven mine MOC, have some more and will be making a few soonish. just build random rock formations and pillars and that sort of visualizes itself for you!
