LDD MOC: Articulated Tram from Lisbon

This is may next project (virtual yet)

its just inspired by the portuguese articulated trams in lisbon

beside the roof and the center all train its SNOT

with close couple system (not tested yet)

Great effort there. Would also love to see it realy build and see it it runs on rails. The SNOT is very well done.

You made a good job on the appearance of it.

However I am doubtful of the articulation of the middle because there is not enough room in the middle between the two sections.

I like the use of the mini flanged wheels they are very useful in small steam engines and I believe they are under used in locomotives. Also is the center part of the train is there where the PF motor and battery box?

That's some fantastic SNOT work as per usual, Sérgio. Having seen your previous MOCs I don't doubt this won't look just as gorgeous built in reality. I can't wait to see it constructed. Admittedly, yellow is not a favorite color of mine, but it looks great on this little tram! The pantograph is unique, too - all in all, great work. Good luck with your close coupling system!

If you look closely, you can spot that he's got larger diameter wheels in the center, which I can only assume are small spoked RC train wheels, so I believe you're right..

Nice design, I like it. This snot technique fits very well, looks like the real tram.

Idea is to get together with elastic, split up in the corners and on the straights join again.

Supposedly it is to walk with a 9V motor for me remains the most reliable

I'd challenge this - there is quite some space in the middle section - and there were some nice posts about how to realize close coupling in this forum ... - Sergio will make it happen, I'm sure.
