jmchisel Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Hi Everyone, My name's John and I'm a long-time lurker, first-time poster to Eurobricks. I'm 35 years old, from Melbourne, Australia and I've been out of my "dark age" for about 12 years. My particular passion in the LEGO world is trains, with special emphasis on the (increasingly expensive) 12V system. I have quite a lot of track etc, sadly no room to put it all. So I'm looking more and more at doing super-detailed "diorama" type railway/city/station scenes that can fit on a shelf. Very much inspired by the incredible work of Carl Greatrix (e.g. )I'm currently building up supplies (thanks to Bricklink and brickhunter.net) to complete some of this work - hope to post photos soon! Leo604 Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Welcome to Eurobricks! I have to admit, Melbourne is one of those 'if you could live somewhere' places for me. Or Australia in general. Quote
