Kai NRG Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 I see more than 4 arms ;) But since both sets of 4 arms were done the same way, I could just say four and be reffereing to the technique right?... Yeah, my bad! Quote
NiceMarmot Posted December 7, 2012 Author Posted December 7, 2012 December 7th - The Old Mill advent.calendar.7.mill.small A small mill in western Kaliphlin, on the edge of the Wither Woods near Eastgate. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Very creative parts use Loving all these micro builds Quote
Kai NRG Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Love that mill! If you could have made the studs inmediatly under the water blue, that might have looked better, but I can see how that would increase the piece count considerably. Great job so far in keeping them simple but easily recognizable! Quote

NiceMarmot Posted December 10, 2012 Author Posted December 10, 2012 December 10th - Mitgardian Winter Scene advent.calendar.10.mitgardian.cottage Another Mitgardian cottage in winter (I guess this is a classic scene, since we now have two builds of this type). Quote
Kai NRG Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Really like the rows of green on the farm! And your cottage looks like what mine should have looked like if I had stuck to the right piece count... Looks nice and cozy! Quote
NiceMarmot Posted December 11, 2012 Author Posted December 11, 2012 December 11th - Kaliphlin Castle GoH Advent Calendar - Dec 11th - Castle Another guest build from Kai NRG! I'm guessing it's a Kaliphlin castle because of the colors, right Kai? Quote
Kai NRG Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 ...Another guest build from Kai NRG! I'm guessing it's a Kaliphlin castle because of the colors, right Kai? Yes, it's Kaliphlin! (Had I not even mentioned that? ) Quote
soccerkid6 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Very neat build Kai, I like how you did it upside down Nice SNOT base too Quote
NiceMarmot Posted December 12, 2012 Author Posted December 12, 2012 December 12th - Dwarven House Golem GoH Advent Calendar - Dec 12th - Dwarven House Golem Dwarven mages of old built and magically animated these small golems out of clay to serve as butlers and valets in their households. Some can still be found in the households of the old Mitgardian nobility, patiently running the household and serving their masters. Can you tell which movie our family watched over the weekend ? NiceMarmot Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 No replies to yesterday's post. I suppose people are getting a bit tired of the Advent Calendar. Well, only ten more days after this one! Sorry for posting this one a bit late; work has reared its ugly head. December 13th - Kaliphlin Temple advent.calendar.13.temple The temple of Amon-Jazreth, the god of shiny stones found on the beach, on the outskirts of Barqa. Quote
Kai NRG Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Looks really good, like the colorscheme especially, but the idea of golden cups for pillars looks great as well! And I'm certainly not getting tired of the calender... in fact I have another one almost ready! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 I'm enjoying the calendar as well, love the cup pillars Quote
NiceMarmot Posted December 14, 2012 Author Posted December 14, 2012 December 14th - Larger Kaliphlin Mill GoH Advent Calendar - Dec 14 - Large Mill A larger mill on the eastern Siccus coast, north of Peregrinus. I built this one first, and then decided to try to minimize the piece count, and so built the smaller mill displayed on Dec 7th. Quote
PsyKater Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Please do not stop posting. These minibuilds are fantastic! Quote
Kai NRG Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Looks great, I like the way the water is smooth on the top but studded afterwards. Nice color for the roof as well! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Another nice water mill, I like the roof and water Quote
