Khorne Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 I was just looking at BS and I saw this cool gallery on the homepage. I think it looks awesome! I love all the vehicles and little details (like the mouse crawling out of a hole in the garage). Anyway, enjoy *sweet* !! Quote
Hobbes Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Yeah, I saw this, too, the other day and I find this one particularly funny X-D Quote
Khorne Posted January 11, 2007 Author Posted January 11, 2007 Yeah, I saw this, too, the other day and I find this one particularly funny X-D Yeah, that's a good pic. But I like this version of the waterpipe(or whatever it's called) better. Quote
El Bucanero Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 What a great airplane! I also like the Kubelwagen: But doesn't this belong in the history and adventure forum? Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Well, let me the first to mention the plane then. What a beauty *wub* Quote
Capn Kirk 911 Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 some naught arabs are oing to be in trouble! Quote
Scouty Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Actually, the Brits and Yanks are, these are the Germans! (This is World War II of 1939-1945) It's a beutiful MOC that I like *wub* . I also, saw this a couple days ago. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Very nice. This is one of the best war MOCs that I've seen. Reminds me of Raiders of the Lost Arc. Quote
Brainbox Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 I saw this the other day too. Not surprisingly, my first thought was 8- Quote
Loco de Lego Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 (edited) I looked at this a few days ago also . I love the way he built this little plane, My Webpage little plane pic Edit: When you enter a URL and see the window where it says "My Webpage" you should enter your own description. Leaving "My Webpage" could lead to confusion and ppl thinking it's your website you're linking to. Thx :-) Edited January 14, 2007 by Hobbes Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Nice. Even though it doesn't look like a minifig could fit within. I like adventure planes and these WWII planes. I've tried building myself with adventurer set pieces and they never come out for me. Quote
eastpole Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Hello Everybody! Hey someone could have told me there was a thread running here about my diorama! ;-) I made a posting on lugnet the other day: http://news.lugnet.com/build/military/?n=2363 I am happy to hear you enjoyed my Me 323 plus diorama. :-) take care Klaus Quote
oo7 Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Very impressive MOC, Klaus. I love the SNOT on the wings of the 323, very innovative building. *y* The jeep is a really nice change from the basic brick-on-brick jeeps that one usaully sees thrown into an adventures moc for a little extra atmosphere. Same with the artilliry artillery cannon. Although one thinng really gets me. Those Rock Raider torsos ar so silly. But that's not your fault, you probably just found them the cheapest for a mass Bricklink order. Now, where are you Birthday boy? It's about time to move this thing to 'History and Adventure'. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Nice job Klaus. You've got a great diorama there! Look forward to seeing more of your MOCs. And willkommen to Eurobricks. Quote

But that's not your fault, you probably just found them the cheapest for a mass Bricklink order. Actually, I picked those torsos because they are the closest of what might look like a soldier uniform. I think the hats are sillier, but we might still have to wait a while until LEGO makes soldier helmets ;-) Quote
oo7 Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Yeah, the hats don't bother me for some reason, they look pretty good. But as for the torsos I prefer the Star Wars Imperial officers, but I'd imagine these are significantly more expensive. And I forgot to mention, the German cross on the side of the 323 is very clever. ;-) Quote
Khorne Posted January 19, 2007 Author Posted January 19, 2007 Or what about these guys. Although they are very expensive :'-( . You could always ask for the decals and buy the helmets from Redbean. Quote

Those are also in flesh. Mr. Chapman makes some really great weapons, I'm still "planning" to buy some sometime. All of them look wonderful except the sniper which is truly pointless as I have a brick built one that looks just as good. Anyway, as I was saying, I don't really like the torso for the last one (there used to be two like that, I guess the other's sold out), that flashlight looks stupid and out of place. Quote

You do realize that the 'flashlight' is actually a grenade ;-) X-D ? Quote
oo7 Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 D'oh!! I should have realized that. But it still looks stupid and out of place nonetheless. Quote
eastpole Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 Or what about these guys. Although they are very expensive :'-( . You could always ask for the decals and buy the helmets from Redbean. Wow, those torso decals look great! Intersting too how the soldiers torso does look similar to the Rock Raider torso after all. Yet $15 is kind of expensive ....... and the SW torsos look good too, but also expensive, so I will stick to Rock Raiders for now ;-) I always try to find a LEGO-solution to things when I build, Minifigs included! ;-) Quote
Khorne Posted January 22, 2007 Author Posted January 22, 2007 Maybe you could use Adventurer torsos? After all, the Afrika Korps wore tan uniforms, not grey ones. I used them as soldiers in my WWI artillery MOCs and they look quite good. Quote
