Scouty Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 I love the mini-fihing game. If you don't know where it is, it's at the base of Zoras Domain, and there should be a door imbeded in a wall somewhere, just look around there. I cought a 20 inch Lake Hylian Bass X-D . Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 You can also find an Empty Bottle at the fishing hole. Just fish were it says 'no littering' or something similar. Quote

Near the bridge on the left when you enter ;-) Also in this area is a piece of heart hanging on the rocke parts in the middle of the lake ;-) Happy fishing lads !! *yoda* Quote
alex54 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 I bought Zelda before my wii and played with it on my brother's wii during the Christmas hollidays. I put my saving on my SDcard. And now, I've got my wii this Friday(pre-order December 18th...) but I can't read my SDcard until the first upgrated of the wii. And the problem is that I don't have the wifi and don't know anybody who have it... So I restart the game... It's not a matter, I was at the beginning of Twilight, in the fire dunjeon. Quote
JoeMI6 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 I'll have to wait til I complete Twilight Princess before I can truly pass judgement. But I do agree, the bosses are pretty damn easy so far. Then again, most Zelda bosses aren't too hard once you work out the pattern and can roll with it. For us Zelda veterans, I think we do find the game easier than most, as we know what to expect. OoT might remain my fave Zelda game, but I think Kiku is right. The first is always the best. Wind Waker was something fresh, which felt great for a while. But I think most N64 fans just wanted another Majora or Ocarina. Unmentioned has been another recent outing; Minnish Cap for the GBA. I loved this, Capcom (I think it was) did an amazing job. They delivered an utter classic. Arguably, it may not have had that epic feel from some of the others, but the story, gameplay and features were just as compelling. It was unexpected, and just what the Zelda series needed to give it an extra kick whilst Twilight Princess was still in the works. As for Kiku's mention about it being too familiar, I'm really liking it. It's a kind of nostalgic feel, yet it's still a whole new open world. Quote

I've been looking for a third bottle! I also got that heart piece, ou have to "hook it" in order to get it :-D ! Bosses: Always 3 "hits" and they're dead, that's the "roll we go as the gamers of the Zelda series". Well, mostly it's 3 hits. Quote

True, it's usually like that in Zelda. What I miss is the "3 hits from the Boss and you're dead." Most of the bosses took just 1-2 hearts a hit. In the original Zelda, normal enemies hurt you more... So I wouldn't know much about how much heart life I lose. (I have about...1....2....3...carry the 5.....6...3.....around 10 -11 heatrs :-) ) Quote

Scouty Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 No!!!! You have told me a future level!!! Nooooo....bleh..bleh...bleh. Curse you :-P . I'm only up at the uh-part where you save Ilas (how in the world do you pronounce her name?) memory. Quote

I'm only up at the uh-part where you save Ilas (how in the world do you pronounce her name?) memory. It's not a future level, it's optional ;-) And not related to the plot really at all, don't worry, I wouldn't put a spoiler without a warning :-P and her name's Ilia, I pronounce it like this: ill-ee-ah Quote
Scouty Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Is it in the Gerudu desert? Thanks for the spellcheck and pronounciation. Quote
Starwars4J Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Yes it is, but not part of any temple or dungeon :-P It's something to do for fun. Would you like me to tell you more about it? Spoilers of course ;-) Quote
Scouty Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Go through a series of "Levels" fighting monsters that progressively get harder? Then reach a fair? Yeah, now I know what your talking about. I know there is more, I'm just to lazy to go further :-P . Quote
Starwars4J Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 50 levels in all. At ever 10-level-mark you unlock a fairy at one of the springs for unlimited uses. Finish it all for quite a challenge on the last level (49). Then play through again with more enemies :-) Sadly, because I don't have my zelda here, I haven't gotten a chance to start THAT yet, but it sounds like a blast Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 The Cave of Ordeals is a lot harder then the Savage Labyrinth in The Wind Waker. You can only get hearts by digging, and even that is only possible on a couple of floors. Be sure to bring lots of fairies and potions. Quote
xwingyoda Posted January 24, 2007 Author Posted January 24, 2007 Is it in the Gerudu desert? It is ;-) Its exactly where the part of the bridge you need to teleport is ;-) The Bridge covers it ;-) I have a question: cant this be dopne once the story is complete ?? I don't want to dare it before having all my hearts :-P *yoda* Quote

Starwars4J Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Like all Zelda games, when you beat the final boss, you start again at your last save point :-) Quote
Scouty Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I...just...beat...it :-) ! ImperialScouts, spent 50 hours on this game. Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 50 with sidequests? Because I'm at 48 or something and I only need to get about 30 Poe's. Then again, I haven't played Zelda at all in 2007 I think :-$ Quote
Scouty Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I still have lot's to go. There was this one time where I was completely stuck and had no clue what to do *wacko* . Quote
JoeMI6 Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I've just defeated Zant and am nearing the final boss methinks. Just one more hurdle to go. Quote
