boxcar3 Posted February 6, 2007 Author Posted February 6, 2007 Ruj-roh! Preliminary sets!!!!!!!!!! These are Preliminary sets!!!! I noticed that wall...the piece that says "wall". Is that a burp??? No it isn't, its a joke from the show. on the course that spongebob drives on to get his license, he has to avoid walls and pedestrians. Quote
iamded Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Thanks legomilk! These look awesome, although unfortunately they won't be shipped to NZ. :-( Oh well, if they did I would definately get Chum Bucket. Mainly for all the gadgets and robots and stuff! :-D Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Thw wall part is accurate. But is the door on the lighthouse a sticker?! -ZotS Quote
Two-Faced Batman Fan Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I simply love these two new sets, but I will only be getting the boating school. That Mrs. Puff minifig looks cool, although she looks like Humpty Dumpty(sp?) :-D But where are the Avatar sets!! Quote
optimus-convoy Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 I like what I see so far. *y* (Minus the light house sticker door. |-/ ) Both seem good, but the Chum Bucket is probably the one I'll pick up. Quote

No, no, no...see a BURP means Big Ugly Rock Piece, that's what I meant. I know the show, I'm just wandering what the piece is. It also seems like he Sponge Bob car is a pull back racer! And what is this? A new palm tree mold!?! Quote
KMOI Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 I simply love these two new sets, but I will only be getting the boating school. That Mrs. Puff minifig looks cool, although she looks like Humpty Dumpty(sp?) :-DBut where are the Avatar sets!! Just wait until the New York toy fair! I'm waiting for it already! I really hope they give us some really nice sets, considering they got past the basic sets in 2006, much like Spongebob's line. Here's to hoping for a small set with Sokka! X-D Quote
john cleese Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 ive been giving this light house thing and have decided its really not that bad that the door on the lighthouse is a sticker, seeing as it is never oppened in the show and it looks like a backround object. I would also argue that if the door did open it would be pretty innacurate. I'm definately buying this one. Theres just something very attractive about it. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 I've been wanting Lego to produce a lighthouse for years (not counting the pink Paradisia set). I'm glad to see one part of the SB collection. It doesn't look too bad, and the door can always be swapped out for the real thing. Quote
Chuck Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 And what is this? A new palm tree mold!?! Thats a few years old. -l2k- Quote
oo7 Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 It also seems like he Sponge Bob car is a pull back racer! Hmmm......That's kind of cool, but where how did you figure that out? Wouldn't be to hard either as Lego already has the mold (I have one). And the palm tree mold is a big, ugly crappy one-peice mold that's been around for several years as Lego2000 said. :-( I don't understand what's wrong with the old one. It doesn't look too bad, and the door can always be swapped out for the real thing. The real thing? There's a 90 degrees curve door? Quote
Scouty Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Oh, I never new of the new palm tree mold till now, oh well. It says "Pull back motion!" on the box, so I figured it'd be the car. As well as the "Preliminary" bars in the bottom of the box. Quote
Pepper Roni Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Good Spongbob pics. I plan to get both, though the Chum Bucket doesn't look much but I want a Robot Spongebob!!!! *vader* *knight* *vader* *yoda* *alien* X-D :'-) :-P Quote
xwingyoda Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 The pull back boatie looks exatly the same as the one in the Bikini Botom set from wave 1 !! When I got the set I thought that those pull backs were lame but they are really fast :-D Parents, hide your fine collectibles as some boatie piloted by SB will crash into them :-D Pull back On !! *yoda* Quote
Vader Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 I can picture you now pulling back the car and throwing out a big yeahhhh!!! as that car speeds off X-D ;-) :-P I do hope no SB were injured in your quest for speed mate ;-) Quote
KMOI Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Hmm. Seems I'm learning more about Yoda from this topic then I ever had at my time at Eurobricks! :-D Nah, just kidding! I suddenly understand why I love Eurobricks so much though. :-P Anyhoo, I'm pretty sure the "WALL" isn't a one piece thing. Afterall, you can do the break-off effect with those smooth tiles and a few normal bricks (1x6 and 1x4s). Quote

Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 I'm suprised they havn't made a Sandy or Larry mini-fig yet. -ZotS Quote
iamded Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 I'm suprised they havn't made a Sandy or Larry mini-fig yet.-ZotS There's bound to be a Sandy's Tree-dome set sooner or later. Or a sporty set with Sandy in it, like a karate one or something. Anyway, I'm getting carried away. Can anyone tell me what the hand holding the Chum Bucket bucket is? I'm guessing it's either rather detailed with quite a few bricks, or a single piece. Meh, I dunno. >.< :-/ Quote
xwingyoda Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 I can picture you now pulling back the car and throwing out a big yeahhhh!!! as that car speeds off X-D ;-) :-P Hell yeay !! Its thrilling let me tell you :-D I do hope no SB were injured in your quest for speed mate ;-) No >:-( , unfortunatly SB is a...bloody sponge !! Have you tried to hurt a sponge ?? THose darn things can't be hurt !! They can only be torn apart :-P Hmm. Seems I'm learning more about Yoda from this topic then I ever had at my time at Eurobricks! :-D Nah, just kidding! I suddenly understand why I love Eurobricks so much though. :-P Looooool !! :'-) :-D Thats the spirit hehe ;-) Anyhoo, I'm pretty sure the "WALL" isn't a one piece thing. Afterall, you can do the break-off effect with those smooth tiles and a few normal bricks (1x6 and 1x4s). What "wall" are you talking about ? Cheers, *yoda* Quote

xwingyoda Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Thats good news then mate i would hate to think youve destroyed a SB for fun X-D :-P Poor little buggar :-D His destruction would be a bit harsh for his stupidity :-D *yoda* Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 If SB crashes into a wall, lets hope he does fly out of the car like on the box... :-D -ZotS Quote
