J4ke Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 (edited) Yep, it's Novvember. Here's my first spaceship to mark the occasion, and somewhat different to my usual. This is actually inspired by the Forerunners from the upcming Halo game, in that not all the bits of them are necessarily conencted. I like that conecpt. I also like TrNeonGreen, and when I saw that cockpit, I knew exactly where to go. So yeah, here's a Vic Viper ala some bizarre alien race or other. Hope you like it. Viper shot, right there. More pics right here. Edited November 4, 2012 by Si-MOCs fixed URL Quote
Si-MOCs Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Very Vesome! The disconnected sections are startling. Excellent and unique take on the VV. But where are the cannons? Though your VV money shot is crooked Quote
Darkdragon Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 How scary is that ship, I would not want to come across it in an asteroid field. Scary! Excellent build, J4ke! Quote
Scorpion Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Loved the concept as much as I loved the E3 Halo 4 Trailer, which is to say, A LOT!!! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Very nicely done! The disconnected modules look great as does the main body Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 AWESOME and creepy fighter 'J4ke', can I assume the weapons are hidden somewhere........Brick On Fight On 'J4ke' ! Quote
PenPlays Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Ooh I'm really digging those modules right now. I like how it looks as if they are tethered to the ship with an energy beam. A very nice touch, and a fantastic build. Quote
Wedge09 Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Really nice ship  The design with the moving parts is great  Quote
DraikNova Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 I love the techniques used on the front, lovely detail. Seems to share almost all of M-tron's colorscheme too. Quote
Laura Beinbrech Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Wow, that's just amazing! I'm betting it's not very "swooshable" though, with all those 2-point connections, but it looks fantastic, just like some of the crazier Vorlon ships I've seen in sci-fi movies that were partially held together by pure energy.... I love the techniques used on the front, lovely detail. Seems to share almost all of M-tron's colorscheme too. Yeah, I agree: you managed to nail the M-Tron color scheme with this design. Quote
J4ke Posted November 6, 2012 Author Posted November 6, 2012 Thanks everyone! Expect another VV soonish. Quote
