Kez Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 This made me chuckle, it's about somebody who made a joke campaign to stop page 3 in the Sun newspaper (UK), its about lego associated with family's wo buy the sun which is supposedly a family paper, link: http://www.thedrum.com/news/2012/11/03/stop-page-3-campaign-creates-spoof-lego-page-3-model-put-pressure-suns-advertisers Quote
charlieboy Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Aside from free Lego, page 3 is the only other reason to buy the Sun!!! Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Perhaps they could have a special LEGO promotion in the SUN and distribute that mini-fig, but only to people who can provide evidence of being over 18 obviously. The only reason the get the SUN is for the LEGO, even then I usually leave the paper behind in the store as I don't really want to have to read that sort of paper. Quote
Kez Posted November 7, 2012 Author Posted November 7, 2012 I only get it for the free lego aswell as others do, I'd hate to be a dustbin man on the weeks of the lego sun promos because I bet the bins outside whsmiths are stacked up high with papers, the lego is good though Quote

It's cool. Quote

Hey Joe Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Oh thanks, it's bane from the new lego dc superheroes 2013 dark knight rises tumbler set Awesome, thanks. I've been staying away from Superheroes (although I used to be a massive comics fan) for budgetary and space reasons but might have to look into that one. There was a story about stopping "The Sun's" page three photo in "The Guardian" a few days ago, wasn't there? I didn't realize it was a joke. Personally, I'm in favor of allegedly topless women anytime, anywhere Quote
simonjedi Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 (edited) Honestly I have more issues with Lego working with News international, due to things like the phone hacking, rather than some boobies being on the page. Edited November 12, 2012 by simonjedi Quote
