Dutch windmill

It was a Saturday afternoon at Bonaparte's place and for once I didn't feel like building a ship.

So I decided to build a windmill instead, as it was on my long to do list.

It has been made ready for a motor, which Boney didn't have (yes, an Afol with no motors ) and some other parts are missing as well. I'd still say the model is about 85% finished.

Of course Boney is Belgian, so I had to make it extra Dutch with some red white and blue flowers and flags.

All in all it was a great weekend, as always. Here's the pictures;

I'll use parts of the design to create a mill for Greenville, I hope you like it.

Nice build.

I like the base of the windmill, smart use of parts in that. I may have to remember that for my own windmill.

You may want to change the scenery a bit since this type of windmill was most used to keep the polder dry. Or you just made the exception to the rule.

This looks great, especially for an afternoon build!

My favorite detail are the small windows in the base of the windmill.
