This is definitely going to be one iconic set. I know the released date is January, however I wonder if LEGO will release it early to get the Christmas demand. Watch this space.... and yes I will be getting it!

I wish they would release it early, but D2C sets always come on certain dates. :sadnew:

From TLG:

Hi Everyone,

This is a quick note to let you know that shop.LEGO.com will begin selling 10937 – Batman™: Arkham Asylum Escape beginning tomorrow, 18 December.  This will be effective for all European countries.  If you would be kind enough to share this with your sites’ readers we would greatly appreciate it.

Please note that the product is still scheduled for a 31 Dec launch in the U.S. and Canada

Kind Regards,

I will be sure to order one first thing tomorrow before work. (Who would like a review  )

I would, also I prefer to get mine in store. A set like that would take way over a week to get here, although my closest store is Watford. It has opened right? I haven't been there yet.

Does exclusive mean it will only be available through the S@H?

Presumably yes because the most expensive sets tend to be available through s@h but if it was a lot cheaper it would be available probably at a toys r us but it could still be exclusive only to toys r us and s@h

One for me, it'll go on display another for my son who is too young now (2y/o) and the other one I hope to sell in a few years.

I got to see this on display at BrickCon back in October. We had the privelage of being the first US unveiling of the set, and it didn't disappoint. It's a beatiful set, and Marcos Bessa did a fantastic job of working in a lot of great gothic details, such as the lovely gargoyles. As much as I like the 2006 set, this one surpasses it. It's a must-buy.
