-zenn Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 When I read about Creations for Charity I just felt like contributing something, so I decided to remake one of my first moc's which got me back into building after entering the 'dark ages'. Claptrap; a desk buddy remake inspired by 'Borderlands 2' for Creations for Charity 2012. Flickr Gallery Comments and critisiscm welcome. Quote
TheLegoNinja Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Interesting! I like the use of a tire as a base! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Neat little model! I like the cyclops design Quote
-zenn Posted October 15, 2012 Author Posted October 15, 2012 (edited) Thanks guys. Hopefully it will be picked up by a Borderlands fan or even better someone who worked on the game Edited July 9, 2016 by -zenn Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Yes that does look quite cute, but i have to ask, how is it standing up balanced on one wheel? Quote
-zenn Posted October 16, 2012 Author Posted October 16, 2012 (edited) Yes that does look quite cute, but i have to ask, how is it standing up balanced on one wheel? The construction of the wheel section is rather stiff and the fat tire is a wedged between those cheese slopes so it has enough resistance not tumbling over. Edited October 16, 2012 by -zenn Quote
Si-MOCs Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 OMG that so cute! That's probably the best mini claptrap I've seen. I can't believe I missed it the first time. If I didn't already spend all my money I would totally buy that. Though It looks more like a Borderland 1 claptrap Quote
