Oh yeah, I just remember doing a language sheet about prehistoric horses. They were small an did get bigger - and another thing. Give them three toes becuase they used to have three toes then they lost two because they only used their middle toe.

Never mind. Ive got another idea. You could put a river out side the cave. You can use minifig arms for fish!

Well, if I put the river outside the cave that would make the Cave set bigger and I would only have four sets. I will probably stick to your first idea, but I may do a few mini fish like you suggested.

Actually, scientists think we interbred. Interestingly, there also the possibility of another human species, Homo floresiensis, which died out about 13,000 years ago. But sightings of this 'hobbit' could have occured up to 300 years ago. Hmm...

First off, the only to mammals to coexist with dinosaurs were small marsupials and shrew like insectivors.

There was one other mammal around with the dinosaurs- the Didelphodon. It was small, hairy and badger-sized.

Horses started small. The original horse ancestor was the cat-sized Propalaeotherium, which lived around 49-43 million years ago. It was indeed 30-60 cm tall

The giant sloth was called Megatherium.

The date periods are roughly as follows:

4600 million years ago Formation of Earth

593-248 million years ago The Rise of Life (pre-dinosaur)

248-65 million years ago The Age of Reptiles

65 million-10,000 years ago The Age of Beasts

(190,000 years ago Homo sapiens)

Who cares about historical/scientific accuracy? Its a Lego theme. There really weren't undead skeleton armies in Castle times, Vikings didn't battle giant dragons, there are no martians on mars, etc.

All right, I'm ready to start building. I got a few Viking and Creator sets, plus all the tubs of bricks I already have. Right now, I am working on the crocodile set and the horse cart too. So far it is looking alright. I also have the cavemen heads ready, but I don't know what to do for the torsos. So far, it is running pretty smoothly. I may get this done by mid February! *sweet*

I will definately post pics when the sets are ready, but instrucions won't work out. I'm using pieces from my collection too, and you would have to buy a lot of sets other than the Creator and Viking ones. You might be able to build your own, though.

Those mocs use the troll loin cloth with what looks like a plain yellow torso. As for other torsos, the Indigo Islanders from the Pirate theme might work well;

I have all the pieces I need for BC except for two minifigs. Anyways, I got two minifigs ready and am working on a prehistoric vehicle.

DOH!! I knew I forgot something! I actually will try to do a female. I think I have a good idea for a female. I will get the pics up in a jiffy of her. Than I will make another guy minifig when I get the set I need for it.

The first torso looked OK at first glance, but humans really had no metal back then. All the black is also unrealistic, brown or tan would be better. Also, the Exo hair unfortunately does not go at all. :-( Finally they look to clean-shaven (imagine that! :-P ) Use the most hairy head you have, they didn't shave at all back then. ;-) Even stick on a hagrid beard, if you want to.

Do you have any of the peices I previously mentioned? The Poisin Ivy torso is cool too, too bad it's only in flesh.
