Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted January 2, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted January 2, 2007 We had a New Years party at our home and invited some family. One of the guests was the son of the new girlfriend of my mothers cousin... He told me that he still had a lot of Lego and that I could have it. So the next day I went to his house and got all his Lego.... for free! He still has some more at his fathers house which he will also bring. A perfect start of 2007 :-) !!! Here are some pictures after I spend some time sorting: A box full with Lego, most pirates, city and castle: A box with figs and accessories: A big box with Duplo: A box with a very old train (still have to investigate this in detail): Quote

gylman Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Wow. Look at all those figs. Many good ones too - I see a bucket o'pirates, and a few castle. Also, you may be able to leverage (i.e. sell) that 12V stuff for significant amounts of money and get some other stuff with it. That IS a good gift for a legoholic. Congrats. Quote

Mile85 Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 wow! great pile of legos and a worth a lot of money :-P I also got about a 10 years ago a similar pile of legos, I think there were much much more legos though(20kg or so, I think) if I remember correctly..including full Eldorado fortress for example :-D I got it free but my dad insisted that we must pay a little money for my cousins so he paid fot them about 50e .. we had back then different currency but that should be about it.. I can only hope that miracles could happen again *sweet* And I think that the train of your's is quite valuable too.. Quote
