Axle Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 They'll probably put it on a 48x48 stud mat. Quote
Vaders_son Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 I don't think they will make the set that big - just imagine the box!! Would be great if true *wub* Quote
Scouty Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 If you look at the ISD box, and even the pirate Black Seas Barracuda box, those things are REALLY big. I 'm sur box size wont be a factor. I hope this set will be smooth and shiny! Quote
Vaders_son Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Well the ISD for one is an UCS and I don't think the Hoth Base will be one, too. Quote
mutley777 Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Well the ISD for one is an UCS and I don't think the Hoth Base will be one, too. I think Imperial scout's meant this one not the UCS one. Also cloud city was a very big set! Much bigger than the large gray base plate! Quote
Scouty Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 No, no, no. What I meant was the box size from the UCS ISD and Black Seas Barracuda was. They are really big. And someone said that if the set was large, there'd be a big box. With these two big sets, I don't think the size of the box matters. Though, I really hope that the Hoth Base is actually a Hothbase, not some random attachment, for example, the little base that came with the Original B-Wing. That was pretty small, I wouldn't want something like that(I'm talking about looks, not size). Well, only time will tell! Quote
Vader Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Judging by legos track record i wouldnt expect anything to big, just look at jabbas palace and cloud city neither were that big. Cloud city is actually quite small when you take away the landing pad. Quote
DoubleT Posted January 8, 2007 Author Posted January 8, 2007 Was thinking ( he he yes i can do that ;-) ) Like in the past droids sets, or indeed evry set that have used the "old" arm, there have bin a ekstra arm.. Maybe the new arm for the droid also comes as an ekstra? he he we might be lucky... For my understand its only one arm on the droid that change.. Quote
mutley777 Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 i think cloud city was a good size set vader (it was only Quote
DoubleT Posted January 8, 2007 Author Posted January 8, 2007 I have plenty of Megaphones.... But i had actuly thought of that... Give Stormies and Clones the new guns, and give droids the old... Quote
Ras 74 Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 That would make 40 arms if all the droids have the new arm. Otherwise 36... and that would be awesome. But I really think there will be 1 or 2 extra in each set, just to be realistic and not getting dissapointed. Quote
xwingyoda Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Indeed I did ;-) A Hoth Base to be specific, although I have no details on it. Sweet Lord 8- Quote
mutley777 Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Don't for get a k-3po fig *yoda* . That would be so much better than another c-3po. :'-) Quote
Legoman Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 *wub* wonderful WOW! look *wub* *y* *wub* *wub* Quote

Vader Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 X-D I think its pretty safe to assume lego wont be giving us anything like this. Quote
xwingyoda Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Don't for get a k-3po fig *yoda* . That would be so much better than another c-3po. :'-) Hell yeay !! I totally concur hehe !! Maybe one day in Lego Heaven :-D X-D I think its pretty safe to assume lego wont be giving us anything like this. Yeay right :-D On another great note, its fantastic to see on the in Home catalogs how TLC advertises their MF packs as real "build your armies" 8- Quote
Vader Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Yes i noticed that also and like you im really hoping for some hoth MF packs, i would love a pack for snowies and rebels *wub* Quote
Scouty Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 MF packs everything would be wonderful *wub* . I really think TLC is stepping up from their seat and taking over the stand! Quote
captaintau Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 What we need are MF packs for each major army, so: Ep 1 = Jedi / Naboo vs Trade Federation Well, we have Battle Droids. We could have Naboo army and Gungan army Ep 2 = Jedi / Clones vs Seperatists Well, we have Clone pack, allbeit Ep 3 clones. A Jedi pack woudl be awesome. Ep 3 = Jedi vs CIS (with others thrown in) Wookiee MF pack! Ep 4 = Rebellion vs Empire Sand Troopers Battle Pack Ep 5 = Rebellion vs Empire Rebel Hoth pack. Empire Hoth pack. Ep 6 = Rebellion vs Empire Rebel Endor (Ewok predominently) pack. Scout Troopers pack So much more potential. There must be loads of others I haven't considered Quote
Scouty Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 WE NEED THOSE EP. 2 CLONES! A MF pack of those would be nice :-) . There's so much in the Star Wars universe that Lego hasn't even tempured with. There is a lot of sets that could be done, and I think that before the license ends, TLC will just bring up a whole bunch of SW sets :-) . Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Yah awesome! *vader* *yoda* These are great. I don't need the new Naboo Fighter but it has some cool mini-figs and its a nice re-design. I may need that MTT. Looks awesome! 19 Droids and 1 Droideka! The Droideka is a bit dissapointing though. The Jedi Starfighter ring is nice! I missed out on Anakins fighter so might as well get this. Plus there is a Kit Fisto! Frickin Sweet! -ZotS Quote
Legoman Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 X-D I think its pretty safe to assume lego wont be giving us anything like this. your kidding right :-P Quote
Axle Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 He's probably right,TLC would never manufacture a Hoth base like that,it'd be too much! They'll probably have the hanger only. Quote
