soccerkid6 Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 My younger brother made this scene, it's a gatehouse with a market and butcher's shop behind it. He built it entirely by himself and the buildings have interiors. He came up with this roof design on his own He would appreciate any comments or suggestions Quote
Moexy Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 This looks really well! It's nice to see how he did the roofs on the gatehouse/towers so that you can open them I like those signs in front of the butcher and the fishseller and those cheese wedges are a nice detail on the towers too Great job! SirBlake Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Very nice! I dig the varied use of bricks with the log and round pieces. Also digging the signs. The only criticism I have is that I'd like to see a bit more color. Specifically some difference between the ground and building walls. Still, nicely done. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted September 19, 2012 Author Posted September 19, 2012 Looks nice, could use a chimney. Thanks, though I'm not sure they need a chimney in the desert This looks really well! Thank you, your suggestion is a good one too. I actually mentioned that to him as well, so his next MOC will be on a green base Quote

heavyfishcannon Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 ;I feel bad for saying this, but the first thing I really noticed was the use of food bits on the sign! Then I started noticing other things, like how nice those stalls look! Quote
