Dial222 Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Just wondering if anyone managed to get one of these plugged in to a modern laptop with a commercial adapter or links to a home brew kit? Quote

DLuders Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 @ Dial222: Since you participated in a similar Eurobricks topic in Nov 2011, did you not try Tom Cook's link to make a "custom Parallel Port cable" for your Lego Dacta Interface A? Click on the "Technic Interface A" link at the left side of this webpage, and scroll halfway down to see the details: Quote

Some issue with the parallel to USB adapter I imagine. Is there a special trick with the adapters? I wonder if anyone has figured that part. Cheers Quote
Burf2000 Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 I did try to get the USB to Parallel to work but no go. Your going to really struggle on this I believe as most model OS's don't allow direct connection to the parallel port (I could be wrong, just something I read) If you do manage to get it working, do let me know!
