A'ight. I got my dream starfighter. Altough it makes a short appearance on Revenge of the Sith, and has a much bigger/ expanded role in Star Wars: Battlefront II, erroneously as a bomber, we all decided that the battle-worn and modified Belbullab-22 should be made. Lego, as usual, delivers with this new starfighter for 2007.

Build: It was a pretty solid build, fast paced and straightforward, pretty basic too. I haven't seen a simpler ship since the Droid Starfighters from episode I. I'm not much of a Lego savvy, but, I know this is good.

Design: When you see this ship, you see a mirror image of General Grievous' Starfighter. The colors are very true to the real thing. Of course, this isn't PERFECTLY ACCURATE to the real thing, as the real thing has 10 of those nice patterned lines in the front of the ship, as this one has 4/5, which...isn't much of an issue unless you're a total dork. Also, linings and parts of the engines aren't curved at all, as in the real thing. But again, it isn't an issue. Also, the pack part, the tail moves downward instead of moving upward and inside the ship to achieve a horizontal position when its landed, which...is awfully unnaccurate, I do not know why they did this, because at the end, no matter in which position you put it, it's going to work a sa tripod, which then again defeats my question.

It also has a sliding cockpit. The cockpit is attached to a complex, yet simple pice which slides forward when putting Grievous in or out. But this may be a con, because its tricky to pull it out, and sometimes the sliding mechanism de-taches and that can create some grief. Also, the cockpit itself is not detailed at all. No decals, no controls....nothing. But the new "features" included are the guns which are attached to a piece that can be rotated inside to hide the guns, and under the ship, there's some holsters for Grievous' 4 sabers.

Minifigs: General Grievous, with no cape! And a new DC-15 Blaster Rifle. These new guns rock. GG himself, which I missed in the pursuit gig, sucks. I dislike his arms, and the fact his legs aren't articulated.

In the end, the ship's got cons, but that doesn't detract much from it. I like the design, for once, and, I'm proud of the fact I own it. I hope Lego makes more obscure ships such as these in the future.

You should buy it. I reccomend it, not highly, because its hardly perfect, but its pretty cool.

Glad you liked it :'-)

Someone already called me a loser on youtube :-D I took it as a compliment. I do have a lot of time to kill.

The darkness is because...well...it was night.
