Hi everybody. Here's my latest MOC, a fortified outpost located in a desert. The design of the building is based on the Persian's barracks in Age of Empire 2 ( what a great game ). You can open it for play. My nieces have really enjoyed playing with it. It's been a while since I've built something with an interior and i'm glad on how it turned out. I should do this more often.

Really nice! Thanks for sharing. If I had to find something to criticize I'd say it looks too 'new' and 'smooth' but maybe that's just my preference for things that look lived in. Keep up the great work!

Everything is new once! :D

I love that it opens up. Lego is for playing! Great work on making something a little different from the normal historical setting. PoP may have bombed, but it gave us some great new pieces. Looks great.

This is a very nice outpost. When I looked at your roof, I got the thought that maybe you could add some sand on the corner of the rooftops in one corner, as if the wind had been blowing that direction. Just a thought.

Great looking building, any plans to build matching buildings? would look great as a small group of structures with that style of look.

Very nice! You should come to Guilds of Historica and join Kaliphlin...default_satisfied.gif

Thanks for the invitation but I don't think I have the time to enter and be an active member.

Most of my white bricks and tan plates were used in this MOC so I will have to dismantle it to be able to build something in the same theme. But if I had the money, an Arabian village would be something I would love to build.
