Locutis Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Hi Everyone! I recently acquired a large Lego collection, and in it there was a Lego City Bank set # 3661. I had an unfinished idea that I was waiting for the right inspiration for, and decided to make a modification of the Lego City Bank set as the "capstone" to my MOC/MOD. First you will notice this is a work in progress. I do plan on making it one floor high, but it will be about twice as deep as the official set. Back side (there will be a wall in-between, next to that chair): But what is that vault door protecting??? SNEAK PEAK!!! We've only scratched the surface. (Purposely out of focus!) Locutis Quote
The Blue Brick Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Very cool. I can't wait to see the rest, it already looks great. Quote
lightningtiger Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Interesting idea, though I wouldn't have the safe so close to the front door plus that vertical sign is a bit low to the ground eh ? I look forward to see the underneath sections.....Brick On 'Locutis' ! Quote
Ferrik Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 So far so good. It will be interesting to see what you come up with. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Great idea Locutis! I like the below ground safe, though I wood've kept the door vertical and added a staircase or elevator. I am looking forward to it's turn out Quote
Locutis Posted September 10, 2012 Author Posted September 10, 2012 (edited) What color do you think would contrast the best against the yellow bricks, for the back half of the building? White? Light bluish grey? Black? Classic blue? Locutis Edited September 10, 2012 by Locutis Quote
JopieK Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Looks nice! Very nice small details!!! Quote
