hi, this is my latest lego custom.. this time i focused more on micro builds.

some parts are shamelessly imitated from Skrytsson's Japanese Teahouse MOC

There are only so many ways you can build a specific style of building with a finite set of bricks, so there's no need to be apologetic lol

I think the water could use work, but cool build otherwise. Makes me want to build a little shack for the few ninjas I have floating around.

thanks! yup the water needs more work.. probably some transitions from blue-lightblue-white would have helped :)

This MOC looks great. The little gold studs hanging from the roof and the gate both create an excellent effect. :wink:

thanks and glad you noticed those details! sometimes details can be so minor and we wonder whether its worth having them at all.. instead of using the same bricks elsewhere

Excellent work! The building itself is great and the landscaping sets it off nicely :thumbup:

The little details like the lanterns, drum, and light brick add a lot too :classic:

Nice MOC, especailly with the top of the Shirine and the island next to it! :thumbup:

It might be a good idea to put a couple trans-yellow round (or otherwise) plates on the lanterns though!
