antp Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 (edited) (I hope it is the right category for this kind of MOCs?) I could have made this for the Modular Madness contest, but I had the idea too late, when seeing Cecilie's mini version of the MOC presented for the same contest. So here is it, a mini-modular version of my Parking Tower. It has a nearly-working elevator. It is at the same scale as the official mini-modulars, when compared to the original one: edit: pictures on my site, https://antp.be/lego/moc/mini-parking.php to replace MOCpage which is dead Edited September 25, 2020 by antp replaced dead mocpage url Quote
Wedge09 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Nice work  I like a lot the color style Quote
Kristel Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 This is nicely done. I like the use of those old style windows at the front and the clip for the light is clever. The car parked on the roof is very cute! Quote
lightningtiger Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 AWESOME scale engineering there 'antp'.......looks perfect scaling too, AWESOME work and Brick On 'antp' ! Quote
Ferrik Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Excellent MOC. The scale is spot-on, and the working lift is great, especially since this is a mini-modular. Quote
antp Posted September 6, 2012 Author Posted September 6, 2012 Thanks for the comments! and the working lift is great "nearly working" Without a pulley to pull in the right direction, and with the friction it does not really work. A 2x2 lift in a 2x2 area does not work as well as the lift on wheels of the original building. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Excellent mini rendition! The parking sign is excellent and the cars work well It's really cool to compare it to the full-scale one and see how you did the different things in micro-scale Quote
