lengineers Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Click for more pics Here is a new MOC Not so long ago in a not so distant stellar system... Ship is 44cm long. Its inside stucture has been built with Technic lego parts so it's rock solid. Its design mixes classic and modern, lines and curves shapes. Human and alien technologies (Quantum propulsion) Feel free to ask any question, and thank you for supporting the Cuusoo project if you like it at http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/24840 Quote
soccerkid6 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Cool spaceship! The color scheme is effective and I like the shaping of the nose The "arms" are the weapon systems? Quote
lengineers Posted September 5, 2012 Author Posted September 5, 2012 Cool you like it. No, "arms" are actually part of the quantum propulsion. They could eventualy be used as a weapon being used the opposite way they're intended to be. Weapons are located below the nose. Quote
DraikNova Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 I love it! Good job with the propulsion "arms" and I love the shaping of the nose. It doesn't look too shabby from the bottom either. Quote
Nabii Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 I almost built a version of this about six months ago, though the original artist call it the 'Vulture', I might finish my version one day. The Vulture I do think if you're going to put in on Cuusoo you should get the artists permision, though I think it was done for a computer game so LEGO will need to get the license too. Nice MOC though. Cheers, Mark. Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Every one use Karanak's work as reference, me included Quote
Si-MOCs Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Ah! I knew I recognized that starfighter... I remember a few people making them. And you did a pretty nifty job - I like the nose piece in particular. But I think Mark is right, if you're going to put it on Cuusoo and potentially profit you should reference / credit the source. Which is slightly different than just building for yourself. Quote
