alois Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 That's an excellent tram you made! Nice curves, great windows. Does it have a motor? Quote
soccerkid6 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Impressive display! The curves in the building really catch the eye and the sub-way track underground is excellent I've always though it was pretty neat that LEGO has LUGs do this Quote
GRogall Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 The MOC of the CLRV looks great! an ALRV might look a little better, but you have done a great job on your display! Quote

lightningtiger Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 AWESOME work from the two of you, 'Rook' and 'Calum'......excellent building design and that tram car is to die for ! I like the tilt at sci-fi as well 'Rook'......it's not easy being an green monster eh ? Brick On ! Quote
medib Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 very nice Rook.... and that is a very nice looking streetcar, Calum. Awesome Job. I just might have to pop into Sherway Lego store before the next RTL dinner, just to see the display. Quote
Wedge09 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Very good work  The subway and the tram are perfect  The man against the green monster I t5hink it has a tiny problem  Quote
streifen Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Wow! Awesome! I like the brickwork on the 1st storey of the buildings! The subway tunnel is really well done and realistic with the passenger tunnel! Do the passengers know of the danger lurking a few walls away? Quote
keeganp1234 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Excellent display! My favorite part was the whole thing! Haha. If I could change one thing, I would change the Alien scene. Other then that, Brick On! Quote
prateek Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Wow! The whole thing looks awesome, but the real star of this is the streetcar! It's so true to it's real life counterpart. The subway is really nice too, but uncharacteristically clean ( ) BTW, are the buildings based on actual structures in Toronto, or are they made up? They look really nice! Quote
Hey Joe Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Hey! It's beautiful, especially the street car. Hope you get the sewer problem straightened out. Thanks, Joe Quote
Rook Posted June 20, 2013 Author Posted June 20, 2013 (edited) Excellent display! My favorite part was the whole thing! Haha. If I could change one thing, I would change the Alien scene. Other then that, Brick On! What would you change the alien scene too? Wow! The whole thing looks awesome, but the real star of this is the streetcar! It's so true to it's real life counterpart. The subway is really nice too, but uncharacteristically clean ( ) BTW, are the buildings based on actual structures in Toronto, or are they made up? They look really nice! Cleanly you haven't used the TTC. It's one of the cleanest transit systems I've been on. And the builds are not based on any specific builds but the vibe of the builds that you find on Queen St W near Spadina Ave. Check out Google's street view of: 352 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario, Canada then if scroll east bound until hit skyscrapers you can see the vibe of the street. \This has to be one of favorite parts of the city and maybe even of the world simply because of its extreme bio and ethnic diversity: Suits, Hookers, Street Kids, Soccer Mom's, Hippies, Students, and every kind over dressed and underdressed genera in between.
