I was trying to build a dome and ended up with this. I used Cadarnold Schwarzenegger's round tower tutorial, so it might already have been done, but I wanted to share it.

Very nice, much smoother than the usual domes. Have you tried to scale the method to other diameters?

I like how that looks very much. I may need to try to incorporate that technique somewhere.
