Si-MOCs Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Lunar Canals by Si-MOCs, on Flickr On a routine survey mission around the southern lunar hemisphere - a shocking discovery is made... What can only be described as alien canals were found that lead deep within the lunar surface... Entry #1 to Iron Builder - Mystery ingredient: Lt Bley Microfigs Quote
Darkdragon Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 I like everything about this! Of course, slope mastery. Great use of the seed part though, it actually took me a moment to figure it out. Also the orange/blue ship is the perfect splash of color for the scene. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 (edited) Very nice. I like the hills I also like the very colorful space ship too.It reminds me of thunderbird island.I am waiting for thunderbird 2 two come out of that middle cave and thunderbird 1 to come out of the top left corner. Wedge09 Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Good, good, good work  Very well detailed, I like it a lot I have a question: what the astronaut found deep within the lunar surface??? Quote
soccerkid6 Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Beautifully done as always The cheese slope texturing makes the canals show up brilliantly Brilliant use of the seed part too Quote
Praiter Yed Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 First Men in the Moon was on TV in the UK at the weekend (haven't seen that since I was a kid) so I imagine there's some Selenites in them there tunnels. Lovely rock-work and the canals/tracks on the ground look really good. As darkdragon said, the ship adds a perfect splash of colour. Quote
Bighappysmiles Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Thats soo cool! I haved always love how people make slopes like that, they look beautiful! I also love how you used the microfigures! I have never seen them used like that before! The little space ship is also very cool! I don't get how you make stuff so incredibly beautiful! Quote
Ceroknight Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 That looks fantastic! Good luck in your competition! Quote
Legonardo Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Great MOC! i love the ironbuilder , its probably the coolest competition out there! good luck! Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I don't care what the other guy makes, ancient civilizations on the moon beats everything lol I like the angular base, always bugs me when a nice MOC has a boring square base. Quote
Groovemeister Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Really slick-looking moc! You've got those angles down to a tee, and the small splash of colour from the ship really sets it off. Top notch work, sir. Quote
kibosh Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Wow! Absolutely stunning. Great concept for the build, too. Very eerie... Quote
DraikNova Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 (edited) I love what you did with the microfigs. EDIT: YAY! 900th Post! Edited September 5, 2012 by DraikNova Quote
Gabe Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Ooh, sweet build Si, lovely texture variations on the rocks/alien canal entrance, and the tiny ship is the perfect foil! It has a real Promethius vibe to it. Best of luck in the Iron Builder! Quote
