RubeusHagrid Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Hi, Sorry if this is discussed elsewhere, but I tried the search and couldn't find anything. I have some questions about building round towers. I know that you can build a round tower by making a wall of 1x bricks and round 1x1 bricks and bending it, but now do you go about fixing it down at the bottom, and adding an interior? What about the roof too? Thanks for any help Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 The pinned thread "Detailed guide to building a medieval village" has a nice round tower building guide. Quote
RubeusHagrid Posted August 29, 2012 Author Posted August 29, 2012 (edited) The pinned thread "Detailed guide to building a medieval village" has a nice round tower building guide. That's a very good guide, and a new technique for me, but I was really looking fir information about doing a tower with 1x1 round bricks and 1x4 bricks. I'm actually building Hogwarts. Hyler Talliwell Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 That's a very good guide, and a new technique for me, but I was really looking fir information about doing a tower with 1x1 round bricks and 1x4 bricks. I'm actually building Hogwarts. The technique you are discussing is only possible, to my knowledge, with solely 1x2 or 1x3 bricks. And for attaching, just use tiles and then jumper plates wherever two studs line up. connected angle plates and generally fit well inside so you can make interior rooms. Quote
