Teazza Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Hi everybody, here I present you a little MOC inspired me by the recent Olympic Games in London. I wanted to represent the final moment of the 100 metres men race, displaying the three athletes that got medals: Usain Bolt (JAM), Johan Blake (JAM) and Justin Gatlin (USA). Hope you like it: All the pictures here: MOCpages Any comment or suggestion is welcome! Bye Teazza Quote
soccerkid6 Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Excellent work! The numbers for each line work very well Quote
streifen Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Great MOC of that race! Where is the finishing tape? what's next? his 200m final? Quote
harton Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Oh sweet! It is really great as a big fan of the Olympics Team Jamaica own it! You should make the podium next to it. I really like the arms on the sides and the lanes with the numbers. Quote
Wedge09 Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Great MOC!! The line and the numbers on the floor are perfect Quote
The Blue Brick Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Great little MOC. I like the use of the old NBA figures and how you made the snot track. Quote
purpleparadox Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Great build! The lane lines, numbers, and finish line, are awesome. I want to do some Olympic MOCs...but I think I'll save 'em for the next Winter Olympics. Quote
lightningtiger Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Excellent MOC 'Teazza'....great work on the track and lane numbers......Brick On ! Quote
Weil Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 (edited) I like it but I think the arms are positioned too high. I don't think it's possible for humans to even rotate their arms straight back that much! I would rotate them so the hands are behind them at a height just below the shoulders. RunnersDad Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Being a Runner and a Track coach myself I have to say I love this MOC. I have thought about doing some similiar MOC's but haven't gotten around to it. I really like how you have structured this. Quote
ticktockclock Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Reminds me of how poor of a selection we get for darker skin tones on minifigs. This fact has thwarted many a MOC for me. Guess I'll have to buy a bunch of Mace Windus or those silly basketball sets from a while back. Quote
