Parts not in LDD

I am both new to the forum and very new to LDD.

I was wondering if there was a way to put in parts that are not in LDD?

Like I would like to use http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=51542 but it is not in the parts list?

Do people make files that you can add to the program thus adding parts?

Sadly, no. It is possible to suggest bricks in this topic. Who knows, they might just pop up in the next LDD patch.
