Kishin Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Has anyone been here? Do they have pikc-a-brick and such? Any good deals there? I would like to go soon, its about 2 hours away from where I live(much more with ridiculous California Traffic). Also in general, how is Legoland CA? Thanks!!!!! Quote
vahkimetru Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 I went there in January 2004. Nice place. They have a POB, but if I recall correctley it's in a defferent shop. They have some good rides. Gentle ones though, meant for younger kids. And the sculptures are beautiful. As for deals, the only great ones I remember seeing were older sets. Otherwise, they have the MSRP prices. Also, the shops ther (Yes more than one) each carry a specific theme except the big one. It's a great day trip I'll say. Those memories will never leave my mind, I strongly suggest you go! *y* Quote
gylman Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 My kids had a wonderful time there. They are Lego and Bionicle fans, and enjoyed everything. There are no bargoons to be had. However, the selection of Lego gear is excellent if you are into that. PAB is good selection compared to regular Lego stores, but not exactly a bargoon. Quote
Brick Miner Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 when i went i was hoping for some rare finds... like some batman/spongebob minifigs at the PaB. its really just bricks and plates... nothing you can't find at bricklink. the cost is calculated by the weight of your PaB bag, and the price seemed high. i went with my girlfriend, and the park was fun... but the PaB was nothing special, i spent under 10 USD on loose pieces. rather a disappointment |-/ - BrickMiner Quote
