Steam Engineer Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Hi all, I'm new to the boards, so still learning to find my way around them, my question is where can i buy single lego parts online? (UK sites only) I have a few personal creations planned, but a complete lack of parts required i'd greatly appreciate it if someone could kindly help me out. Thanks Nick *knight* Quote
captaintau Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Welcome, Nick. You'll find the best place is BrickLink. Sellers are all over the world, but world but when you search for anything, with the seller's name, comes information on which country they're in and if they deliver to the UK. Whereabouts in the UK are you? Quote
Capn Frank Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 If you want to buy brand new bricks, some of them are availible on Lego Factory 1.6. Just down load it from this website and put whatever bricks you want on the screen and then order them online. You can also build what you want too. There aren't nearly as many bricks availible as on BL (bricklink) though. Quote
Steam Engineer Posted December 22, 2006 Author Posted December 22, 2006 Whereabouts in the UK are you? Lincolnshire, East midlands ;-) Thanks for that link, although cant seem to find the part i'm looking for so ive posted this pic maybe yourself or someone can help me find it :-$ Its just for an ice planet themed version of the Mega Core Magnetizer 6989, which is one of my favourite sets. Nick Try right here at BL. If you know what the sets item # the piece is missing from go to www.peeron.com and type in the item # in the search box and it'll lead you here and at the bottom of the page is the list of parts and part #'s. Find the part (click on the PIC link to be sure it's the right piece). And type that part # in the BL search engine and change the "item types" to parts. Then all you've gotta do is buy it. Edit: BTW here is a list of acronyms used on most lego forums in case you didn't know them. Edit, Edit: Thanks Phred *y* found the piece i was looking for on bricklink, now i can get to building this beast when i get a few other pieces & such. Nick ;-) You're very welcome Nick. (M-Tron was by far my favorite space lego team) Quote
