shinobisgreenshinpads Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Hi there! I've been collecting minifigures forr the past 6 months or so (and lego a lot longer, but soon ran out of space hence the figure focus!), and I am an absolute Marvel fiend so the latest lot have been snapped up quickly. Now I've recently had my eye on the Phoenix and Black suit spiderman from Comic Con, but obviously it's a fair bit of money for two figures so what I was wondering is, are the current prices likely to go down, or will they only continue to rise and thereofre now would be a good time to invest. Also, is there any chance that those exact figures will come out in a later set? I'd imagine not, but obviously I'd rather be certain as I'd be a little upset if I paid a significant amount and they suddenly became readilly available! Thanks guys, really appreciate any advice.
Nightshroud99 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 I don't think the price will go down at all, unfortunately. And it's not likely these will be made into sets.
Tobias_Jay Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 No I emailed LEGO about them and they said there may be variants of them but not exact figures
CorneliusMurdock Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 These questions have been discussed at length in the Licensed Forum, where this topic would have been more at home. (Though I probably would have merged it with an existing thread anyway since it has been discussed.) The general consensus is that these figs will only go up in price as there will be fewer and fewer on the market. Several different sources have said they will not be made available in future sets. Now I'm closing this topic. Have a nice day.
