p_o_s_t_y Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Hi everyone,I'm new to customizing and would like some help if possible. I'm trying to print a balaclava on a flesh head, the eyes are white, the mask is black and the smile is flesh tone. I have transparent waterside decal paper,a flesh head and an image for the mask. Just wondering do I paint the whole head black, then paint the white eyes and then add the flesh smile to the head,(I won't paint the head where the smile goes) Or is there an easier option? Any help would be appreciated Thanks-P_o_s_t_y Quote
Darkdragon Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 You will not be able to print white. The way laser/inkjet printers work is that they use no ink in an area designated as white. To get white with a clear decal, you'll have to manually paint the white areas after you print. Quote
commdr_neyo Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 You could change the white to a shade of grey that's almost white, but you wouldn't see it anyway, since you use -clear-waterslides. Quote
NickAb Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) I believe the easiest way for you will be to use a black head piece (if you have one) and print only the face part either on white sticker paper or white water slide decal paper, the white base will allow to make white and other light toned details. So basically you will be applying only a face and the black head it self will be a balaclava. Edited August 15, 2012 by NickAb Quote
