Fabjoueauxlego Posted August 2, 2012 Author Posted August 2, 2012 (edited) Great shots! What kind of business do the sea dwellers do? They look very dapper. I like the jesters shot, too. Hope to see more from you. Thank you ! I would say the sea dwellers are bankers, or traders... All my other pictures can be seen on my personnal blog. purpleparadox Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Excellent photography! My favourite is the Spiderman pic. It was cool to begin with, and the shadows make it look fantastic. Quote
ticktockclock Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 I like the simplicity of your pictures. You don't use elaborate constructed sets or a lot of outside terrain, but I think that's for the best. Keeps the focus on the MF. Quote
Fabjoueauxlego Posted August 3, 2012 Author Posted August 3, 2012 Thank you guys ! 10,000 pieces big MOCS are not my speciality indeed I could get few series 8 minifigures, here are my pictures of it. Other ones can be seen here ! Quote
lightningtiger Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 AWESOME vig's 'Fabjoueauxlego', the business-sharks or tax collectors is the best one. Now why is the blonde cheerleader upset.....she has a better body, the quarterback will date her that the other one ! Keep them coming and Brick On 'Fabjoueauxlego' ! Quote
Vindicare Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 I like Santas bag. That could be very useful in a robbery MOC! Quote
harton Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 I don't know why but these cheerleaders make me think of the Archie comics... In my mind, the A stand for Andrews (Archie) and the M for Mantle (Reggie, but in these case I would have exchange the hair color for wrightly represante Veronica and Betty. Sometimes I got a twisted mind... Harton Quote
Vindicare Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 What do, if anything, the letters on the cheerleaders torsos stand for? Anybody? Quote
Fabjoueauxlego Posted August 14, 2012 Author Posted August 14, 2012 What do, if anything, the letters on the cheerleaders torsos stand for? Anybody? I read somewhere (don't remember where exactly...) the letters were the initials of 2 Lego designers.. Here are Young Solo and Young Chewie ! Quote
Oky Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 The DIB (Droids In Black) How original. Nice work, although I was expecting something else when it said "vignettes". I think photography would be a better word. Quote
Amset-Rah Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Some of these might be a bit old, but I figured I could put them in this thread collectively. The unfortunate truth about fishing But when you change location if there's no bites, be careful what you fish for. Quote

I think photography would be a better word. Original original But you're right, these are more photographies than "vignettes"... Are these more convenient for the vignette definition ? Quote
Vindicare Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Original original But you're right, these are more photographies than "vignettes"... Are these more convenient for the vignette definition ? Great batch of photos, very funny! Quote
Oky Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Original original Touche. Are these more convenient for the vignette definition? Not really. Among AFOLs, the term vignette is usually used to describe a small scene made out of Lego, usually on a 8x8 or 16x16 baseplate. Yes, these pictures can be called vignettes too, but it's a bit misleading. I don't want to mini mod or anything, but perhaps it would be good if you would post your pictures in the Funny/Interesting Pictures thread or the Star Wars Lego Photography thread next time. Quote
