slovakiasteph Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 City Corner is one of my favorite city sets, and even though I thought I ran out of bricks the other day, I figured I'd try this one. Thankfully, I had quite a few white and red panels to use. I ran out of red bricks for the chimneys, but I can always add those later. Actually, I ran out of bricks several times during this project. The pizzeria is on the ground floor. I need to rig up some sort of sign to let people know because otherwise, the only signage is on the second floor. It's very informal, with two tables, a counter, the workspace, and the pizza oven in the back under the stairs. No, I don't even have a 1x2 grey tile that's not being used. I don't like salvaging off other projects because then they look incomplete. Second floor: apartment. The family who owns the pizzeria is having a discussion. They've sent their son upstairs to play. Third floor: bedrooms and hall. Son is on the back balcony swordfighting with his imaginary friend (there's not much room for that sort of thing in his bedroom!). You can see that my bricks are getting so low that I had to use trans yellow ones in the back. Attack! View of the back and side: And, with a few of my other modulars: They all have the same type of rooflines. The guy wiped out on his bike to avoid the unexpected mailbox in the middle of the sidewalk. That's why you should ride in the road. Not one of my most inspired builds, but it was fun! I've had a few weeks off from teaching, which is why I've been building so much. Back to the grind! Quote
