I enjoyed the trip, but I noticed something..when was the park so run down? :cry_sad: I mean all the white sculptures were yellowed, and other problems like the mouse's head on the ground of the queue of The Dragon. :look: Other than that I had a wonderful time and scored on clearenced keychains!(They rangd from $1.98 to $2.50 for the Star wars ones. :sweet: )

Which one?

I always wondered what they do to keep the bricks from getting discolored in the sun... I guess they don't do anything.

They do replace faded parts. Just not frequently enough.

To the topic starter, which Legoland did you visit, out of curiosity? I went to the one in California ten years ago, but just last year I went to the one in Windsor. The most faded sculpture I saw there was the spider ride (I forget what it was called). And on that one, it was most noticeable due to the fact that there were two spiders. The spider which was on its own beside the ride had clearly been taken care of. But the giant spider which made up the bulk of the ride was quite faded.

That's surprising. I thought the Star Wars Miniland was indoors, which I would have expected to help the bricks stay "fresh" longer.
