KotZ Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I haven't posted much here in the guilds, but CJP and I are building a small village together (his thread has already been posted) and I wanted to show the small building I'm working on. It's a small house on a 32x32, which will be attached to other plates as the build continues. The lion head there is supposed to be part of a fireplace Not a huge fan of the door right now, though. Thoughts, comments and criticism? Quote

KotZ Posted July 25, 2012 Author Posted July 25, 2012 Thanks everyone. The door is not SNOTted as I don't have enough pieces available for that, will head to a PAB wall soon. For the roof, same deal. The interior still has some fleshing out, such as a bed, chest, etc. For the past day, I've been trying to build more, namely fix the rocks by the pond/river to no avail. I just keep staring with no idea on what to fix- I'm not even sure what I don't like about it. Quote

Some thoughts: The walls are looking a little plain, maybe add some windows or some ivy climbing up? The landscape should be spiced up, maybe some plants, heights differences, trees, cobbles etc. Quote
