The Great Speeder Race happens once every year each year on a different planet. The winner gets gold and fame and the losers don't need to worry about fame since the race is one of the most dangerous things in the universe. The richest people in the galaxy can afford hover platforms to watch the race live, everyone else watches on TV. Trillions of dollars of bets are placed every year.Thousands of competitors over millions of miles race.

This is a great idea. I especially like the Magneto one. Maybe it would be cool to see more "themed" Speeders for specific characters, kind of like a Mario Cart type thing. Maybe make ones for Superheroes, Harry Potter, Pirates, Sponge Bob, whatever.
